Jack Samman describes some of the many villages of Hertfordshire, providing historical facts and geographical details.
He explains the difference between a village and a hamlet and describes the features of the villages.
I have been in the windmill at Cromer, which is now set up as a museum rather than being a working windmill. The sails are permanently in a fixed position. The windmill is open on two alternate weekends during the summer months. Parking is available in the field opposite. Favorite track: Cromer.
