Hertfordshire is located in the south-east of England.
It is situated immediately to the north of London and people commute to the capital on the railways that terminate at King's Cross and Liverpool Street.
The county has leafy suburbs and quieter villages.
Historically the county provided a country retreat for the Royal Court. Notable places include Hatfield House and Knebworth Park.
Wherever I am in the world I will always have Hertfordshire close to my heart. Favorite track: Cottered.
